John Madden is a former American professional football player turned football coach. He has an estimated net worth of $200 million. He turned into coaching after not having made the active roster because of an early knee injury. Madden was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles during that time. He then coached the Oakland Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XI. Since then, he also became one of America’s popular football announcers. Before coaching Oakland Raiders, he had some short stretches coaching in California at Hancock Junior College from 1960 to 1964 and in San Diego afterward. In 1967, he landed a job as an assistant with the Oakland Raiders. He led the team in 1969 and stayed in through the 1978 season.
