PETER OSTRUM
Peter Ostrum is an actor born on November 1, 1957. He was once known as the child star who portrayed a role in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Though he was given a heart-warming credit for it, that same project was his one and only appearance in a movie. His co-child stars in the film, Julie Cole and Denise Nickerson, both admitted that they had a crush on Peter during the time they filmed Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory together.
Peter had chosen a career far from acting and pursued medicine. He received his doctorate in 1984 from Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine. After his journey in studying, he succeeded and is now a veterinarian of large farm animals. It is often said that “Gold will shine everywhere”. Although far away from movies, Peter still has a wonderful life.
