Diane Sawyer – NEW YORK, $4.6 Million

Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters are, to a huge degree, darlings of American TV and broadcast journalism. Both personalities are known for being competitive with each other, and it is only because they are equally good at what they do. Walters is known for hosting a lot of TV programs, including Today and ABC Evening News.  Sawyer is known for anchoring major programs on two networks, ABC’s World News Tonight and Good Morning America.

Sawyer and husband, Mike Nichols, lived in a 1920’s French stone-house, nestled in the cliffs of the New York’ Palisades. This country-style home overlooks sweeping views of the Hudson River, giving it a rustic charm. The brick and wide-planked pine floors are just marvelously paired with the hand-hewn beams and French doors leading to the terrace. The outdoor grounds also feature a swimming pool and a guest cottage. The 3,108-square-foot house is currently listed for $4.6 million.
