Ron Howard – Connecticut, $27.5 Million

Honing and improving one’s talents is an investment worth taking on. After all, not only can it give you a fortune, but also a tremendous amount of recognition and respect from both fans and peers. Well, the same can be said for two of Hollywood’s well-known figures: Ron Howard and Woody Allen. Although they’re now regarded for the many films they’ve made, Ron actually started his career as an actor, initially known for his role as Opie Taylor in The Andy Griffith Show.

Nowadays, Ron is renowned as the director behind films such as Cinderella Man, Cocoon, A Beautiful Mind, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Thanks to his fruitful career, the filmmaker has earned more than enough to buy his family a few homes along the way, including a lakeside estate in Connecticut. Despite it being ideal, Ron and his family eventually had to say goodbye to the property and sold it for $27.5 million.
