Viola Davis

Nowadays, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t know Viola Davis. She is best known as an American actress, but some may not know that she is also a producer. If you’re into thrillers, then you have probably seen her in the hit series, How to Get Away with Murder. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2015 for her role in the show. She’s also the first Black woman to have won the award.

The star is incredible. Throughout her career, Viola has won an Academy Award as well as two Tony Awards. With this, she became the first African-American to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting. The actress has been in the industry for more than two decades. Despite the number of her achievements and investments in the industry, she is yet to show signs of slowing down. Right now, fans can look forward to her next two films.
